Welcome to The Captain and His Mermaid blog. We are so excited to share our life with you!
Just a little about us…. The Captain is Kerry, he is a retired Fire Captain. He worked for CalFire for almost 30 years. And his Mermaid is Misty(thats me) I have done lots of things but mostly a mom. We have been married for 29 years.
We have 2 kids, Jordan and Tyler. Jordan is married to a great guy, Cole and they live in Colorado. Tyler is currently in Utah, He serves in the Army National Guard and working toward his career goals. We are very proud of all 3 of them.
Kerry and I decided once he retired to hit the road and travel to see the United States. We love to travel, love to cruise, but we decided it’s time to see our own back yard. We are so lucky to have been able to travel so much in the 5 years since starting this blog. At this time we have decided to return to Utah for a while to help out Kerry’s Father, We are happy that we have the ability to be able to be there for him.
We will still be hitting the road on some mini trips as well as some amazing trips that we are excited to share with you.
