Today we had one of the best times we have had!! Thanks to some of our friends that drove 12 hours just to take us on this Jet Boat Drive!!
We started by getting on board the jet boat about 8:15 am. So it was very chilly at the beginning of the ride!
This was a 104 mile wilderness whitewater ride! Thats right 104 miles round trip!! It will take almost 7 hours of your day but so worth it!!
We start out in Gold Beach, ride for a couple of hours. Stop for a break, great time for a snack(you can bring your own or they have a small store and restaurant) and go to the restroom. Then you will continue the tour to the whitewater portion! Then you stop once again for lunch(this is not part of your ticket price, so again you can bring your own or purchase.) Then make your way back to the harbor.
Oh what a fun day we had!
At different times of the year you will see different wild life! We got to see a couple of Bald Eagles and a Doe and her fawn.
This dog was great! He was so sweet and loved to ride on the boat.
