This was on our bucket list! It was exciting to see all the bright nights of the city. We only had a couple of days to explore Nashville, so we wanted to make the best of it. Crunch in as much as we could. So we went to Old Town Trolley Tours to help us out!

They have different packages to choose from. We did one that we went to the Country Music Hall of Hall and Museum, night tour and day tour. It’s so great because you can hop on and off and any of the sites you want to visit. Just be careful on the weekends, and holidays. It gets very busy with bachelorette party’s on the weekends.
Day One, we went to go visit the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, it was so much more than we had expected. We spent most of the day in there. They start with the history of Country Music, they have costumes from singers, cars, and even letters.
Like this car was one of Webb Pierce’s, he had it outfitted with all kinds of unique items. A small saddle in the middle console, pistols, horses and other items added to the car.
Minne Pearl- she was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1975, Most people will know her from her time on the show Hee-Haw. In Minnie Colley made her debut on the Grand Ole Opry Stage. She was known for her tag line, “How-w-w-DEE-E-E-E! I’m jest so proud to be here!” Minnie always left a smile on peoples faces.
George Straight!!!- Enough Said!!
And the Bandit Car!!
There is so much more to see, They highlight the lives of great people throughout history in Country Music. For tickets or more information please go to: https://countrymusichalloffame.org/
Ryman Auditorium
Home of the Grand Old Opry, actually built in 1892 as Union Gospel Tabernacle by Thomas Ryman. He had owned several saloons and fleet of riverboats.
This is the north facing exterior of the Ryman, the building has been through much renovation during its time as the Home of Grand Old Opry.
Nashville’s downtown and Broadway Street, does not lack of things to do. There is the places above as well as Johnny Cash Museum, shops and bars. So many owned by some of the biggest names in Country Music. Luke Bryant, Alan Jackson, Blake Sheldon, Florida Georgia Line, the list goes on.
And you can not forget Tootsies Orchid Lounge, this located in the alley from the Ryman, its said people would perform at the Ryman and then head over to Toosties to perform. The biggest names in Country Music have played here.
Luke’s Bar is in an old bank, so they kept the bank vault as well as the boxes inside the vault.
Do you know what Luke Bryant video this truck was featured in?? “That’s My Kind of Life.”
Just to walk through these places is entertaining. So much memorabilia in each one. And of course there is food and drinks.
Being a Pinterest lover, I always go on there to see what I can kind at upcoming places we are going to visit. Well this wall with the angel wings was by far the most popular thing on the feed. I had hoped we could find it, and luckily while we were on our night ride on the Old Town Trolley, they drove by it and so we knew where it was. On any day you can drive or walk by there and see a line of people waiting to get their picture with the Angel Wings. WE got so lucky, after we were all done with the night tour and decided to head home, we thought we would try to find the Wings, SOOOO happy we did, only a few girls there. So we did not have to wait in line.
There is so much more to see than we thought. We are so glad we did the trolley tour, and hope to visit Nashville again.
