Seattle is one of our favorite places to visit! Especially Pike’s Market Place and the downtown area. We always start our day with some of the most amazing crepes we have ever had!!
This is a hidden gem within the walls of the market place!!
We dream about these!!
And of course you can not stop to smell the flowers…
We just enjoy walking and seeing what they have around. We seem to notice new things all the time.
This trip we decided to take the Water Taxi over to the West side of Seattle. It is just a 12 minute cruise across Elliot Bay. Once off the taxi, jump on one of the free shuttles that will take you to the Junction, its a hub of restaurants, bakeries and cute shops.
But we decided to stop at Alki Beach, they have a 2.5 mile paved path around the shore line. There are waterfront restaurants and mores sites to see. Or just hang out at the beach for the day!
You can spend a great amount of time over on this side of Seattle.
On our way of to the west side you have an opportunity to get some great pictures of the Seattle Skyline. It was a beautiful day for us, warm and clear!
Once we got back from our ride, Of course we had to make sure we stopped at the gum wall. It is great how many people just love this wall, it was so crowded. It is such a landmark of the city.
We went to Pier 57, walked all of the area, shopped, ate and took more pictures!!!
Seattle never disappoints us,
And you can not forget to stop at Pike’s Place Fish Company to watch them throw around some fish!
And after a long day, walked about 25 miles, and ate way too much we went back to our home to relax and get ready to hit the road the following day.
